Watermelon and papaya juice

I’m starting my year off healthy. I made some watermelon and papaya juice (pawpaw as it is known in Naija) late last night and I love it! Now why do I buy juice at the grocery store again?! Hmm…! Looking forward to putting my blender to good use this year.  I basically chopped, blended and bottled one pawpaw (aka papaya) and 1/2 a small watermelon along with the juice of 1 lemon in each batch. Fruit is truly organic in Nigeria, so it spoils pretty quickly. This is a great way to preserve it for a few days and drink more of it. Enjoy!

Allez, savourez!

Yeah, we are lucky in Naija with fresh fruits and vegetables.

  3. Just discovered your lovely site. Your melon & papaya juice look very rich & healthy. I keep coming across information that says that one should not eat watermelon with other foods. I wonder if that goes for the juice as well?
